On Saturday, July 14, and Sunday, July 15, Jasmine Enterprises, Inc. will hold a “Stop Buy for Hope” Wedding Gown Trunk Show Sale at Jasmine Galleria, in the Chicago area at 2840 S. Hundreds of gowns in sizes 4 to 24 will be available, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Brides Against Breast Cancer, a national non-profit organization based in Sarasota, FL.
Known for its original Nationwide Tour of Gowns bridal shows, Brides Against Breast Cancer contributes to free programs and services offered to cancer patients and their families, according to Amy Paulishak, vice president, business development. “Our outreach and educational efforts around the country help ensure that people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge and strengthened by action,” she said.
Brides Against Breast Cancer holds more than 50 shows a year, with an average offering of 1,000 or more new or gently worn and designer dresses. The organization also operates a retail store at its administrative offices in Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota. “We welcome the tax-deductible donations of bridal gowns and accessories,” added Paulishak. “New gowns are arriving daily and we welcome every contribution.”
Since 2002, the Brides Against Breast Cancer™ program has received more than 50,000 wedding gown donations, with an estimated resale value of more than $4 million.
