OSPREY — Arantxa Rus of The Netherlands maintained her methodical style of play Sunday afternoon and turned it into the singles championship of The 2012 Oaks Club $50,000 Pro Circuit event.
Rus, 21, breezed past a fatigued Sesil Karatantcheva 6-4, 6-1 as the part-time Bradenton residentstruggled with her serve.
The left-handed Rus broke Karatantcheva’s serve four times in the first set.
